In what is widely viewed as a PR stunt, Trump announced a ‘Vaccine Summit’ to likely try and take credit for the new COVID vaccines but the two leading drug manufacturers —  Pfizer and Moderna–  said ‘no thanks.’

You’ll remember Trump publicly feuded with Pfizer, falsely claiming they had held back the successful results of their vaccine trial until a week after the election

The only people to RSVP are the ones involved in the vaccine distribution process, ie. FedEx, UPS, Walgreens, and CVS but even they are sending ‘representatives’ (not their CEO’s in other words.)
