In the brave new world of streaming vs traditional movies, Netflix grabbed most of the Golden Globe nominations this morning with ‘Marriage Story’ getting SIX nods, The Crown nabbing two and Martin Scorsese’s The Irishman garnering five.

The Noah Baumbach directed Marriage Story also was nominated for almost every other award, including Best Screenplay, Best Actress and Best Motion Picture. Scarlett Johansson and Adam Driver’s performances in the divorce drama have been widely praised.

Martin Scorsese’s  The Irishman, scored two Supporting Actor nominations, as well as Best Screenplay, Director and Motion Picture.

Our favorite Netflix show, Phoebe Waller Bridge’s  ‘Fleabag’ got THREE nominations, including one for ‘hot priest’ Andrew Scott in the Best TV Supporting Actor category.

The awards will take place at the Beverly Hills Hilton and will air on Sunday, January 5 on NBC at 8 pm ET.
