United States District Court Judge Dana Sabraw said the situation is ‘chaotic’ due to Trump’s ‘zero tolerance’ border policy and that immigration border agents cannot separate families at the border. He also ruled that officials must immediately reunite parents with their children younger than five years old.
More than 2,300 migrant children have been separated from parents since May.
