In a move anticipated by many, North Korea is now threatening to walk away from the June 12 summit with Trump, using as an excuse the recent regularly scheduled joint military drills in South Korea, saying the US and S. Korea are ‘rehearsing for an invasion.’

In a statement, Kim Jong-un said that the US must stop ‘hostile policy, nuclear threats and blackmail’ of the North as a ‘precondition’ for denuclearisation. National Security Adviser John Bolton was singled out for insisting the North would have to give up its weapons before sanctions were lifted.

The world holds it’s breath.
