Known for it’s rugged yet fashionable backpacks, did you know Herschel Supply also makes luggage? Yes, we thought you’d want to know. The company sent the Ash Rose Trade small carry on (23” (H) x 15(W) x 9 (D), 40L) for us to test.

First, the millennial pink is very subdued — and classy. It’s definitely small enough for an overhead bin and the multi-directional wheels make it easy to spin around so imagine zipping through an airport with this baby!

Inside the hard shell luggage, you’ll find a split design with a zippered mesh storage (perfect for your stilettos and runners) plus adjustable garment straps to keep your carefully rolled clothes in place.

The retractable trolley handle works well and we like that the company added neoprene padding to the utility handle, though the handle is very tight to the case which makes it tough to grip. Featuring a TSA approved combination lock which is easy to use, the carry-on is available in 8 colors including ‘Woodland Camo.’

Perfect for a weekend trip, or a three-day trip, it’s our new favorite luggage. And in a sea of boring black cases coming off the airport luggage carousel, ours will stand out. Travel on!
