Remember the woman who attacked a 14-year-old black teen in a New York hotel lobby, claiming he stole her phone? In the widely shared video, Miya Ponsetto Ponsetto yells at the teenager, attacks him, and drags him to the floor as witnesses attempted to intervene.
Many people accused Miya Ponsetto of racial profiling.
She is now charged with attempted assault, endangering the welfare of a child, attempted robbery and attempted grand larceny, according to charging documents.
She is free on supervised release until her next court date.
