As we all begin to take a second look at the products we use daily, switching to organic goods, detergents, and sulfur-free hair shampoo, what about our toothpaste and mouthwash?

Many contain Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) and Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLES) which are found in a range of products from industrial cleaners to toothpaste and their main purpose is to provide a foaming lather. The problem with that is that they may cause canker sores, mouth ulcers, stomach issues, and cancer. Yikes!

So the team at Dale Audrey R.D.H. developed a line of natural ayurvedic oral healthcare products ranging from oral pulling rinses, saltwater mouth rinses, ayurvedic toothpastes and tooth powders, steel tongue cleaners and tongue serums. In addition, the Dale Audrey team produces a line of sonic toothbrushes, Kid Packages, pet dental products and white2nite natural tooth whitening pens.

P.S. We’ve been using Dale Audrey’s white2nite natural tooth whitening pen and are already seeing results just after a few days! ($26.95.)

While you’re at it, dump your mouthwash for the minty Dale Audrey Ayurvedic ‘Oral Pulling Rinse’ which is based on the Ayurvedic belief that swishing the oil on a daily basis will “detoxify” and “pull” toxins from the body. It swaps out alcohol and other additives for Neem, Myrrh and Clove bud oil that contains antibacterial and antiseptic properties. ($14.95 for 8oz. bottle.)

And this month, Dale and her team are partnering with the charity Project Angel Food, supporting the non-profit’s mission to prepare and deliver healthy meals to feed individuals impacted by serious illness. During the COVID-19 pandemic Project Angel Food has ramped up activities providing meals to over 2,000 clients a day in the Los Angeles area and providing jobs to chefs and workers furloughed during the pandemic.

For the entire month of June, 30% of all purchases using this link will be donated to Project Angel Food.

So be good to yourself — and good to others.
