On Tuesday night, CNN aired one of lawyer Michael Cohen’s blockbuster tapes of a discussion with Trump about paying off a Playboy model who had an alleged affair with the President.
This morning the President blasted his former attorney :
“What kind of a lawyer would tape a client? So sad! Is this a first, never heard of it before? Why was the tape so abruptly terminated (cut) while I was presumably saying positive things? I hear there are other clients and many reporters that are taped – can this be so? Too bad!” Trump tweeted.
Federal prosecutors have 12 recordings from Cohen captured during the raid on his office, and CNN confirmed that the tape they broadcast is among those seized.
Meanwhile, Giuliani continues to maintain Trump’s innocence even if the face of irrefutable proof.
Clearly, Trump’s personal lawyer is going to flip on the President. Cohen, meet Mueller.
