Over the weekend, deadly storms ripped through the Midwest and parts of the South leaving devastation and death in its path. Over 100  people are feared dead and rescuers are still sifting through the wreckage.

In what is now being called the deadliest tornado event in the State’s history, Kentucky’s Gov. Andy Beshear said they feared discovering more dead in the coming days. Six people died at an Amazon warehouse after the roof collapsed.

Powerful storms like the ones responsible for the weekend’s widespread damage are the ‘new normal’ in an era of climate change said FEMA chief Deanne Criswell.

To help the victims, Governor Beshear has established a Team Western Kentucky Tornado Relief Fund to assist those impacted by the storms.
