So Trump has said on numerous occasions that if he is re-elected he would have President Joe Biden indicted…while he has his lawyers argue in court that he has ‘presidential immunity’ for his role in the January 6th attack on the Capitol.

“Of course I was entitled, as President of the United States and Commander in Chief, to Immunity. I wasn’t campaigning, the Election was long over,” he wrote. “I was looking for voter fraud, and finding it, which is my obligation to do, and otherwise running running our Country.”

In a post to his Truth Social platform early Monday, Trump said he plans to attend oral arguments on his presidential immunity claim before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit on Tuesday, and claimed that it was his obligation as president to find voter fraud.

Though U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan, who is presiding over the federal election interference case, already ruled on Trump’s motion to dismiss the indictment on presidential immunity and constitutional grounds, he appealed the decision. This has put the case on hold (which may be Trump’s long-term plan with all the cases leveled against him.)
