After weeks of protests over police brutality, Trump reluctantly signed an order on police reform today that will ban chokeholds ‘except in life-threatening situations,’ create a database of ‘bad’ cops and, in some non-violent cases, have social workers respond to the scene instead of police officers.

The so-called ‘Law & Order’ President quickly distanced himself from the efforts at police transparency though, complaining that there is a there is a ‘very small percentage of bad apple offices,’ despite recent evidence to the contrary.

‘When you remove the police, you hurt those who have the least the most. Nobody needs strong, trustworthy police more than those who live in distressed areas,’ Trump said belligerently.

‘But nobody wants to get rid of them more than the overwhelming number of really good and great police officers,’ Trump said.

And of course, this being Trump, he blamed Obama for ‘doing nothing.’
