While all evidence seems to prove that journalist Jamal Khashoggi was murdered in the Saudi embassy in Istanbul, Monday morning Trump claims that after hearing the Saudi King’s denial on a 20-minute phone call he’s now convinced that the King was not involved. In fact, Trump suggests ‘rogue killers’ murdered the Washington Post journalist.

‘I can only tell you that his denial to me in this one very you know relatively fast phone call, probably lasted 20 minutes, his denial to me could not have been stronger that he had no knowledge. And it sounds like he and also the crown prince had no knowledge,’ Trump said.

Let’s get this straight, so Jamal enters the Saudi embassy and though he is never seen leaving, Trump believes rogue killers stormed the secure embassy and killed the writer?

Why is Trump dragging his heels? It all comes down to  $110 billion (yes, with a ‘B”) arms deal which Trump is anxious to push through since he’s been bragging about it for months. While the rest of the world is calling for sanctions, the US President is only thinking of bragging rights.
