After Trump falsely claimed that the suspected terrorist in the New Orleans attack was an immigrant –when actually it was a U.S. Army veteran born in Texas — – he refused to correct his statement even after his favorite news channel — FOX News — had posted a correction.
Despite facts to the contrary, Trump doubled down, saying that the Biden administration’s handling of the nation’s borders has led to “a violent erosion of Safety, National Security, and Democracy.”
“This is what happens when you have OPEN BORDERS, with weak, ineffective, and virtually nonexistent leadership,” the president-elect declared.
“The DOJ, FBI, and Democrat state and local prosecutors have not done their job,” he added.
“They are incompetent and corrupt, having spent all of their waking hours unlawfully attacking their political opponent, ME, rather than focusing on protecting Americans from the outside and inside violent SCUM that has infiltrated all aspects of our government, and our Nation itself.”
“The USA is breaking down.”
He added that America was an international “laughing stock,” and that federal law enforcement agencies, as well as many state and local prosecutors, are “incompetent and corrupt.”
Naturally, he placed the blame on President Biden as well.
