French cookbooks by Juniper Books.

We all have our favorite cookbooks — like a dogeared much-loved ‘Joy of Cooking’ — which looks out of place in a gorgeously designed kitchen. So, like many others, we stuck all our worn bibles of food in a cupboard. Then, along comes Juniper Books which takes classics and re-designs them into works of art that you would be proud to display.

On our wish list is the The Culinary Collection’s’ Set of Chef authored recipe books, which will be unveiled at a book signing culinary event with chats featuring some of San Francisco’s top chefs.

Lindsay Anyon Brier (who founded  AnyonDesign.com ) will host a celebratory event at her showcase-worthy space, with guests Thatcher Wine (Founder of Juniper Books), Chef Gonzalo Guzmán (Author, Chef and Co-Founder of Nopalito restaurant), Chef Stuart Brioza and Chef Nicole Krasinski (Co-Founders of State Bird Provisions restaurant), along with leading tastemakers from San Francisco’s design and culinary communities.

At  AnyonDesign.com, the limited-edition book set retails for $450 and is bundled as a collector set, featuring a jacket cover with a panoramic view of the Golden Gate Bridge by photographer Michele Bell. Curated books in the set include:

§  Benu by Corey Lee

§  The French Laundry Cookbook by Thomas Keller

§  State Bird Provisions by Stuart Brioza and Nicole Krasinski

§  Nopalito by Gonzalo Guzman

§  Tartine All Day by Elisabeth M. Prueitt

Guests in attendance at The Culinary Collection unveil event will be treated to a book signing, cuisine by featured chefs and panel chat and audience Q&A with Chef Gonzalo GuzmánChef Stuart Brioza and Chef Nicole Krasinski.
