On Sunday, the SpaceX capsule with astronauts Doug Hurley and Bob Behnken aboard splashed down in the Gulf of Mexico on Sunday after a more than two-month mission to the International Space Station.

The ‘Space Dads’ mission to the International Space Station was also the first time in history that a commercially developed spacecraft carried humans into Earth’s orbit.

Mission control dispatched a humorous welcome to the astronauts as they splashed down: “Thank you for flying SpaceX.”
