Let’s start with the COVID vaccine:

Pfizer Pfizer is applying for emergency use authorization from the FDA within days after final results from the last trial of its COVID-19 vaccine showed it was safe (even for seniors) and 95 %. This comes after news from Moderna that their vaccine is 94.5% effective. While this is the best news we’ve heard in a long time, it will be months before the general population can be inoculated so experts warn to keep wearing your mask and practice social distancing.

For the first time, there’s a rapid coronavirus home test that delivers results in minutes. It’s a nasal swab and can be used by anyone 14 or older. For people waiting hours and hours in line for a COVID test, this is good news, though at the moment it requires a prescription from your Doctor.

Reminder: The US continues to rack up grim milestones with over 76,830 people hospitalized nationwide. Stay safe.
