So a Singapore Royal Caribbean cruise to ‘nowhere’ ended up returning to port after a passenger tested positive for COVID. All the passengers had taken COVID tests before boarding but as everyone should know by now, COVID can show up days later.
Wednesday passengers heard an announcement telling them to say in their cabins and the cruise liner headed back to the Marina Bay Cruise Centre in Singapore.
Meanwhile, the CDC now classifies cruise travel as “Level 4: Very High Level of COVID-19” and clarifies that this includes river cruises and applies worldwide.
