The runaway miniature dachshund, Valerie, has finally been reunited with her owners after her adventure on Kangaroo Island.
She had been lost for over 500 days and was finally trapped by rescuers.
‘She was wagging her tail, making her little happy sounds, and wiggling around with joy. I held her and cried and cried.’
