Why exactly was Katy Perry invited to King Charle’s coronation? Turns out the songstress was there in her role as an ambassador of the British Asian Trust, which fights against child trafficking, started by the newly minted King.

At the Coronation concert, she enthused:  “I am so happy to be here with you people, I love you so much,” she told the 20,000-strong crowd. “I am so happy to celebrate this whole weekend, I got to bring my mom; she is so happy to be here. We got to stay in Windsor Castle — no big deal.

Then she broke into crowd-pleasers “Roar” and “Firework.”

But can we talk about that dress? Designed by Vivienne Westwood, the gold almost sculptural number was crafted out of a high-shine metallic fabric that was perfect for the stage.
