Journalist Ekaterina Kotrikadze, who works for a Russian news outlet (now shut down by the Russian government) discusses threats of nuclear war that have been broadcast on Russian state TV during the war in Ukraine.
Bascially, the Russian government is telling its people that if they lose the Ukraine war, it will result in a nuclear war.
“I want to remind you that Russia is one of the most powerful nuclear nations, said Putin. “This is a reality, not just words.” Russia, he told listeners, is “strengthening our nuclear deterrence forces.”
