The People’s Convoy Truckers received quite a welcome in one East Bay neighborhood. As they blasted their horns and snarled traffic through the mainly residential area, frustrated residents pelted them with eggs.
People throwing eggs at the trucks shouted, “Get out of our town!”
“That’s what I’m talking about!” one of the egg-throwers is heard yelling in the video.
Apparently, the truckers were protesting against State Assembly member Buffy Wick who lives in Oakland, over her bill to mandate that employers must vaccinate their employees.
This really pissed off the truckers because eggs can destroy the paint finish unless it is washed off almost immediately. And there’s a word for the deterioration caused by eggs — ‘crazing.’
Pass me another cartoon of eggs, please.
