Neil Young fiercely defended his pro-vaccine and mask beliefs today, telling Spotify that he doesn’t want his music to share a home with ‘vaccine misinformation.’

“They can have Rogan or Young. Not both.”

“Rogan” of course refers to Joe Rogan, the controversial podcast host who has touted false claims around vaccines and COVID-19. “The Joe Rogan Experience” is one of Spotify’s most popular podcasts.

You’ll remember that earlier this month,  more than 250 scientists, doctors and nurses sent an open letter to Spotify condemning the music streamer for supporting Rogan and his fake COVID news.

In his statement about Spotify, Young argued the podcast platform is “spreading fake information about vaccines — potentially causing death to those who believe this disinformation spread by them.”

“I want you to let Spotify know immediately TODAY that I want all my music off their platform,” “They can have Rogan or Young. Not both,” he continued.

No word yet on Spotify’s reply.
