In a quick 15 minute vote today behind closed doors, Republicans voted to remove Republican Liz Cheney after she had voted to impeach Trump and publically slammed Trump’s false claims that he won the election.
As her fellow Republicans tried to put the Capitol riot in the rearview mirror, Cheney continued to call out Trump for his role in inciting the January 6 uprising.
But before they could oust her, Cheney spoke on the House floor, lambasting her fellow members and warning ‘we face a threat America has never seen before.’
