Despite Ivanka Trump’s best efforts, the Judge in the lawsuit against Trump ruled that she must testify in the $250 million New York fraud trial. Her lawyers had argued that since she now resides in Florida and maintains she left her Trump Organization job in 2017, the judge wasn’t buying it.
‘Ms. Trump has clearly availed herself of the privilege of doing business in New York,’ Engoron said.
He said her testimony wouldn’t be scheduled before Nov. 1, to give her lawyers time to appeal.
