Trump could soon have the dubious distinction of the only President impeached TWICE. Nancy Pelosi announced Friday that House Democrats have already drafted the letter of impeachment which lists just one single reason, accusing Trump of ‘incitement of insurrection’ in the Capitol riot.
Part of the letter of impeachment reads: Trump ‘betrayed his trust as president,’ calling his conduct ‘grossly incompatible with self-governance and the rule of law.’
If successfully impeached, Trump would not only be banned from holding public office but that would also prevent him from a 2024 presidential run, as he has repeatedly threatened.
That’s reason alone to try and impeach.
