Just a day after Hope Hicks testified before the House Intelligence Committee, where she admitted that she ‘had told white lies’ in the course of her duties, she announced that she was resigning as communications director for President Trump.

According to a source, a ‘tearful Hicks’ announced her departure to the White House communications team Wednesday afternoon, saying that she felt now was the right time to go and wishes the best for the President. While many are speculating that she’s leaving the West Wing in light of the testimony yesterday, none of the Trump team would comment.

This marks another departure for the revolving door to the White House.
