George Santos, the GOP congressman-elect from Long Island, New York, is in the hot seat, accused of being a conman.
It was just last month that Santos flipped a blue seat red — which helped the GOP win a slim majority in the House.
Now it has come to light that the Republican may have ’embellished’ much of his resume, such as his college education — they have no record of him — where he worked — the businesses haven’t heard of him — and there’s no record of an animal rescue site he claimed to run.
Santos also said that four of his employees died in the 2016 Pulse Nightclub shooting, but an investigation found no evidence of that.
If he did fabricate his resume he could be in trouble with the House Ethics Committee.
