Trump was indicted for the THIRD time Tuesday afternoon.

The ex-President was hit with FOUR charges – including conspiracy to defraud the government and obstruct the electoral count – for his efforts to overturn the 2020 election.

“Despite having lost, the defendant was determined to remain in power,” prosecutors wrote.

The indictment accuses Mr. Trump of three conspiracies: one to defraud the United States, a second to obstruct an official government proceeding, and a third to deprive people of civil rights provided by federal law or the Constitution.

“Each of these conspiracies — which built on the widespread mistrust the defendant was creating through pervasive and destabilizing lies about election fraud — targeted a bedrock function of the United States federal government: the nation’s process of collecting, counting and certifying the results of the presidential election,” the indictment said.

These indictments are on top of the 40 — count ’em — charges in Florida based on the former President keeping and then hiding classified documents, and then there’s the NY trial for falsifying business documents after making a hush money payment to porn star Stormy Daniels.
