On Thursday, Finland’s leaders announced that they will apply for NATO membership. What changed?

Once again, Moscow’s creepy Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov, said there would be ‘repercussions’ and that Russia views Finland joining the alliance as ‘a threat.’

Finland “must be aware of the responsibility and consequences” of joining NATO Russia’s foreign ministry said in a statement Thursday, adding that Russia “will be forced” to take retaliatory steps if the country joins the alliance.’
