Monday, the European Union recommended that its member countries ‘reintroduce travel restrictions for visitors from the United States who are unvaccinated against the coronavirus.’

After a rise in Covid-19 cases in the United States, especially in states like Florida, the EU issued this warning.
It was just in May that Europe had opened up to US travelers but now these restrictions will restrict the flow of tourists though every country — which includes popular destinations such as France, Italy, and Germany — can institute their own travel advisory.
This spells bad news for most countries since many are dependant on tourism dollars.
Despite the fact that the vaccine is readily available, only 52.1% of the population is fully vaccinated according to data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
