Eric Swalwell, the Democrat Congressman who was running for governor of California, has just announced he has ended his campaign and will also resign from Congress after the House Ethics Committee launched a probe into sexual misconduct allegations.
Reportedly, after the first woman came forward, FIFTY-FIVE other women have also accused the politician.
Meanwhile, in a statement, Swalwell apologized to his family, staff, and constituents for “mistakes in judgment I’ve made in my past.” However, Swalwell maintained that at least some of the allegations were false.
