The limited-edition Topps Baseball card featuring Dr. Fauci’s first pitch at the Washington National’s fame set a record as the bestselling baseball card, with over 51,500 ‘Faucis’ sold in 24-hours.
When asked about the clearly, uh, a ‘bit outside’ pitch the Doctor joked, “I don’t know if you want to call it a pitch. It was really funny.”
Still, the man was obviously honored.
