Rapper Doja Cat was just announced as the host of the 2021 MTV’s Video Music Awards ceremony that’s set to air live from the Barclays Center in N.Y. September 12.
The ‘Say So’ singer tweeted ‘I’m hosting the 2021 #VMAs this year Wowowowowowow. Tune in on 9/12 at 8pm on @mtv.’
Along with her nominations for Artist Of The Year and Video Of The Year, Doja is up for Best Collaboration for Kiss Me More (featuring SZA), Best Art Direction for her song Best Friend (with Saweetie), and Best Visual Effects (with The Weeknd).
