Anyone with even a passing interest in Fleetwood Mac has heard about the incandescent romance between band members Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham. It fueled their music but also almost brought down the band numerous times.

Based on the book by Taylor Jenkins Reid, the series follows the two rockers from the time they meet as struggling musicians to worldwide fame.

Documenting Buckingham and Nicks — who she once joked “were about as compatible as a boa constrictor and a rat,”–  the series also covers the twisted tumultuous relationships between bandmates Christine and John McVie, Fleetwood’s divorce and a short fling with Stevie.

Riley Keough, the granddaughter of Elvis Presley, plays Daisy Jones and Sam Claflin plays Buckingham. To their credit, both perform their own vocals and instruments on the album’s recording.

The band’s cast is rounded out by Waterhouse (Karen), Will Harrison (Graham), Josh Whitehouse (Eddie) and Sebastian Chacon (Warren). They are joined by the remaining main cast, Tom Wright, Nabiyah Be and Morrone.
