On Tuesday, the COVID-19 death toll broke another devastating statistic — with THREE deaths every MINUTE in the U.S.bringing the daily total to 3,775 fatalities. (That raises the grim total to 357,000 American deaths since the beginning of the pandemic.)

In hard-hit California, there has been a 1,000 percent spike in hospitalizations since early November and ambulance drivers have now been cautioned to conserve oxygen and not to transport patients who may not have a chance at survival.

‘Everyone should keep in mind that community transmission rates are so high that you run the risk of an exposure whenever you leave your home,’ Los Angeles County Public Health Director Barbara Ferrer said. ‘Assume that this deadly invisible virus is everywhere, looking for a willing host.
