For the next 14 days, CNN host Chris Cuomo will be broadcasting from his basement. On Tuesday he announced that he had tested positive for coronavirus. Quarantining himself from his family, the host has been regulated to the basement where he will continue to shoot his nightly CNN show.
His brother Gov. Cuomo spoke about this brother during his daily press briefing, saying that Chris has been exposed to the virus from an infected guest on his show.
‘My brother Chris is positive for coronavirus. He is going to be fine, he’s young and in good shape, strong, not as strong as he thinks, but he will be fine,’ Gov Cuomo said.
‘But there’s a lesson in this. He’s an essential worker – a member of the press. He’s been out there. You go out there, the chance you get affected is very high.’
