So the story goes that a Florida HEALTHCARE worker, who has been carefully following COVID restrictions, decides to meet 15 friends at an Irish bar in Jacksonville.
Fast forward to 10 days later when all 15 are now COVID positive.
Erika Crisp, 40, revealed that the bar in question now has 49 employees sick from the virus as well. She explained: ‘I think we were careless and we went out into a public place when we should not have. And we were not wearing masks. I think we had a whole ‘Out of sight, out of mind’ mentality. The state opens back up and said everybody was fine, so we took advantage of that.’
Florida is one of 22 states where daily coronavirus cases are rising.
