Low vaccination rates at L.A. police and fire agencies has let COVID spread through the agenices like wildfire. Even bringing mobile vaccination clinics to fire and police stations has not helped. As of last week, only 55% of firefighters had received the vaccine.

Not surpringly, Los Angeles County health officials have identified ‘hundreds of coronavirus outbreaks’ at police and fire agencies.’

LAPD Chief Michel Moore in Tuesday’s Police Commission meeting said there were 84 new cases in the department. The week before, there were 45 new cases.

Moore indentified the problem as misinformation and conspiracy theories about vaccines for the hesitancy among a large number of his officers.

Now there are discussions about mandatory vaccinations for public officials.

Would you trust your safety to an unvaccinated fireman or policeman?
