The just-released UN report finds ‘credible evidence’ that the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabi, Mohammed bin Salman, was ‘to blame’ for the killing of Washington Post writer Khashoggi. Khashoggi was killed inside the Saudi consulate in Istanbul in October last year but the Prince denied any knowledge of the hit, even though Saudi Arabia finally admitted its agents carried out the ‘premeditated’ killing.

In a horrific audio recording, his killers are heard discussed cutting his body into pieces, before drugging and suffocated him with a plastic bag.

Saudi Arabia instantly called the report fake news ‘baseless.’

In the 99-page UN report, experts found it ‘inconceivable’ that a sophisticated 15-man mission to kill Khashoggi could have happened without Prince Mohammed’s knowledge.

Even without a direct link, the prince could be held ‘responsible under international law even if there was no ‘smoking gun’ linking him to the crime.’

The UN now calls for sanctions on the prince’s ‘personal assets’ and other high-level Saudi officials should also face a probe.

Trump has continued to deny that the Saudi Prince was involved.
