An overpass carrying a subway train traveling on an elevated overpass collapsed in Mexico City late Monday, killing at least 23 people, including children, according to local government officials.

At last count least 79 people have been hospitalized. Four bodies remain trapped inside the carriages that plummeted to the streets below, as the rescue teams arrive on the scene.
