Luigi Mangione has been formally charged with murder by NYC officials for the shooting of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson.

After fleeing New York, he was recognized in a Pennsylvania McDonald’s and arrested as a ‘person of interest.’

According to the police, Mangione had a 3D-printed ghost gun similar to the one used in the Wednesday morning murder, along with a gun silencer, a manifesto, and four fake IDs when he was arrested.

The most telling piece of evidence was a lengthy manifesto he had with him. In it, he referenced UnitedHealthcare and condemned companies that ‘continue to abuse our country for immense profit because the American public has allowed them to get away with it.’
