Thursday the Biden administration announced they planned to share 25 million doses of the vaccine with other nations, with the aim of distributing at least 80 million additional doses by the end of June.

Using the COVAX global vaccination program, these vaccines will reach the countries that need it the most.

“We are sharing these doses not to secure favors or extract concessions. We are sharing these vaccines to save lives and to lead the world in bringing an end to the pandemic, with the power of our example and with our values,” President Joe Biden said in a statement.
