Now this is how you treat your fans.

At a Beyonce concert at FedEx Field fans were told to ‘shelter in place’ after a storm threatened lightning, which delayed the concert over two hours.

“Due to lightning in the area, we are currently under a shelter-in-place order,”tweeted officials. “Fans outside of gates and in the parking lots are asked to return to their cars. All fans inside of the stadium are asked to shelter in place under covered concourse areas and ramps until further notice.”

But for many who had taken public transportation, it meant they had missed the last trains home. So, being the Queen that she is, Beyonce paid for the overtime so that all 98 stations would remain open an extra hour so that everyone could get home safely.

“Hold Up #Beyhive,”  tweeted (X-ed?) the official account for Metrorail. “Metro & Renaissance Tour will extend the last train by an extra hour to weather the storm. The last Silver Line train toward Ashburn tonight will now depart Morgan Boulevard at 1:04 a.m.”
