Despite the technical snafus and general lack of excitement at the 2021 Golden Globes, there were a few informal surprises and two moving speeches, one from Chadwick Boseman’s widow and an inspiring Jane Fonda receiving the Cecil B. DeMille Award.
And who will forget, in one of the show’s lighter moments, Tracy Morgan announcing the winner for Best Original Score and mispronouncing it as ‘Sal.’ He later tweeted “Sorry SOUL. I was thinking about the pizza I was going to get from my guy SAL on the way home!!”
