At a place more used to horse races, Santa Anita Park, hundreds of volunteers showed up to help those displaced by the LA wildfires (more than 153,000 at last count.)

People brought clothes, shoes, water, hygenie kits and canned food.

People arriving at the race track  “are exhausted and desperate,” said one volunteer.

More than 153,000 people in Los Angeles are under evacuation orders.

“The call went out online for people to come to and support their neighbors who lost everything, and my goodness, are they responding.”
