CNN reporter David Culver traveled to the Sichuan Province of China to meet ‘panda trackers’, who help the animals get reintroduced to the wild.
As an endangered species, China has been working hard to raise pandas with the aim of releasing them into their natural habitat.
But to prevent the cubs from imprinting on their human caretakers, researchers and vets dress as giant pandas before entering the reserve.

So far, the China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda has released 11 captive giant pandas back into their natural habitats, with nine of them surviving.
