A State of Emergency has already been declared in Buffalo as the predicted blizzard has already hit the area.
“I want to be very clear: This is not your normal snowfall in the city of Buffalo or in the region,” Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown said Friday, per Elamroussi. “This is a snowstorm with potentially deadly consequences if people do not do the right thing.”
New York Gov. Kathy Hochul also declared a state of emergency for 11 counties on Thursday.
“The snowfall will produce near zero visibility, difficult to impossible travel, damage to infrastructure, and paralyze the hardest-hit communities,” the National Weather Service said Thursday.
Western New York could get up to over five feet by Monday, a historic amount. Brace yourselves.
