At one point during the Super Bowl, the jumbo Tron flashed to Taylor Swift, who was cheering for her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, of the KC Chiefs. Eagles fans booed.
Trump, who pompously announced his presence at the game but then left early, wrote on Truth Social, “‘The only one that had a tougher night than the Kansas City Chiefs was Taylor Swift. She got BOOED out of the Stadium. MAGA is very unforgiving.’
But on Jimmy Kimmel Live, the late-night host set the record straight.
‘She didn’t get booed out of the stadium,’ Kimmel began, addressing Trump’s false claim. Swift did, in fact, stay for every miserable second of the Chiefs’ defeat.
‘Unlike you, she stayed for the whole game — and it was the Eagles fans who were booing her,’ he continued. ‘But you’re right, it’s all about you.’
‘Trump’s just jealous of Taylor Swift because she has more followers and more money and no kids than he does,’ he added.
