In a strange, out-of-touch speech this morning, Trump crowed about the unexpected dip in unemployment numbers then saying:
‘Hopefully, George is looking down right now and saying, ‘This is a great thing happening for our country,” Trump said. ‘A great day for him, a great day for everybody. This is great day for everybody.’
Unbelievably, he even boasted: ‘To me, if you think about it, the greatest comeback in American history.’
Yes, George Floyd is still dead, murdered by the police, and protests roil the county. This is just another example of Trump trying to distract from the main issues.
‘Look at this shiny jobs report over here!’
