UPDATE: Choas in the court as Trump’s attorney tells jury, ‘You cannot send someone to prison based on Michael Cohen’s lies.’

Judge Juan Merchan immediately criticized Trump’s team, calling his comments ‘outrageous’ and ‘highly inappropriate.’

‘It’s simply not allowed period,’ the judge says. ‘It’s hard for me to imagine how that’s accidental in any way.’

Juries are always instructed not to consider the penalty for finding someone guilty.

 

 

The Trump defense team has rested after Trump attorney Todd Blanche tried to discredit Michael Cohen, calling him the ‘Greatest Liar of All Time.’

Outside of the courtroom,  Donald Trump Jr. echoed Blanche’s statements and whined that Cohen was “the GOAT [greatest of all time] of liars.’

Tomorrow, the prosecution begins their closing arguments.
